Stacking the Shelves [20]

STSmall_thumb[2][2]

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Guidelines:

  • Create your own Stacking The Shelves post. You can use my official graphic or your own, but please link back to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!

  • You can set your post any way you want, simple book list, covers, pictures, vlog, sky is the limit!

  • I am posting Stacking The Shelves on Saturdays, but feel free to post yours any day that fits you.

  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on Saturday and add your link so others can visit you

  • Visit other participants link to find out what they added to their shelves!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Stéphanie is an book nerd and Optometrist living in a small community in Northern Ontario and even if she liked living in Montreal for 5 years, she believes the small town life is more her style. Ever since she was little she loved books and stories. It's no surprise that today, you'll always find her with a book within arm's reach.

I really liked it too. Maybe not as good as the books, but close. They took some liberties since the book was written 1st point of view yet the movies wasn’t necessarily first point of view.

  1. Jessica@a GREAT read

OOh nice goodies!! I still need to read Two Weeks Notice myself! I am very behind on everything it seems! Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow so be sure to stop by!

Nice haul! And totally agreee that while the word swag leaves a little to be desires, the actual swag is awesome! Änd yea for Two Weeks Notice! Love Rachel Caine! Enjoy!

    • Stéphanie

I love Rachel Caine too! She’s supposed to be in Montreal next Saturday for the Smart Chicks Kick it tour, which I’m attending. Hopefully I’ll get to meet her!

*SQUEEE!* All those shiny, pretty new covers! xD I am so excited for Silver. Mythology and swoony steamy hot romance is always a must-read for me. Innocent Darkness was just okay for me, but I hope you like it more. 🙂

My family just got the Hunger Games DVD too! I did not want to read the book (something about the gruesome scenes of kids killing kids. But the movie I could handle. Good story line.

    • Stéphanie

Can’t wait either!! It’s going to be epic! And I don’t really need to bring Two Weeks’ Notice to have it signed because my copy was already signed!!

    • Stéphanie

It’s intriguing isn’t it? I think this Canadian cover is a lot nicer than the american one… Or whichever the amazon link send you to. I think it will be a nice change from my usual paranormal reads!

Great books! Your posts always increase my wish list! I got The Hunger Games DVD/Blu Ray Combo pack also but didn’t think to put it on my post! I hate the word swag too but love getting it also! Happy Reading!

I have a 9 year old daughter, and my husband and I took her to see The Hunger Games in the theater. She’s read all of the books after I suggested them to her. 🙂 Then, we bought the movie and all watched it together. I loved it even more the second time around than I did the first, lol! I can’t help but totally enjoy my daughter swooning over the books and the movie, lol. She’s Team Peeta. My 2 year old son even goes around saying he wants to watch The Hunger Games. 🙂

    Awesome haul!! 😀

  10. Amy

Great Books!! I put The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry on my list at the library for the audiobook. Silver sounds really awesome! I still need to get The Hunger Games Bluray. I keep telling the hubs he better bring it home for me lol!!

  11. booktasty

You have some fun times ahead with all those books! My husband wants me to wait until the Hunger Games DVD is cheaper before we can buy it…so I’m waiting patiently (no I’m not I’m DYING for it!). 🙂
