Stacking the Shelves [48]

Good morning everyone!

First I’d like to apologize for not recording a vlog this week. I just got back to work after 14 months (early pregnancy leave + maternity leave) and I’m still in the midst of getting used to the changes, hence no time to record aforementioned vlog.

This is 2 weeks of books:

For review:

A Turn of LightThe Rising (Darkness Rising, #3)What We Become (Those That Wake, #2)Infatuate (Gilded Wings, #2)

A turn of Light by Julie E. Czerneda [Amazon | Book Depository]
The Rising by Kelley Armstrong  [Amazon | Book Depository]
What We Become by Jesse Karp [Amazon | Book Depository]
Infatuate by Aimee Agresti [Amazon | Book Depository]

Julie will visit us next week so stay tuned!

I love Kelley Armstrong and can’t wait to read this last instalment in the trilogy 🙂

I don’t plan to read the last two books, I haven’t read the first Jesse Karp book and I didn’t like Aimee’s first book so I’ll try to find someone to pass them to.

Frost Burned (Mercy Thompson, #7)

Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs [Amazon | Book Depository]

Love Mercy and can’t wait to read it!

You got some really great books. Especially Frost Burned. I hope it is just as good as al the other books in this serie.
Hope you enjoy reading all of your new books.

Those books look amazing. Never heard of the Jesse Karp books. Some nice book. The cover for the Aimee Agresti book sure is pretty. I know sometimes getting used to changes is never easy.

Great haul! I really need to read something by Kelley Armstrong and Patricia Briggs already! They’re basically UF classics and I should be ashamed that I haven’t tried them yet. Aimee Agresti’s series also sounds intriguing. I hope you’ll end up loving them all 🙂

Thanks for hosting! Here’s my haul.

  4. Lili

I really want to read INFATUATE! Somewhat enjoyed book one, gave it three stars. I felt like the second half of the book was much better written than the first half. Hoping that book two will be better if her writing style remains the same as the second half or improves even further.

Oh, you got The Rising! I’m so jealous. I can’t wait to read it, I hope it’s good.

I loved Frost Burned, it was so good.

    Happy reading. 🙂

Aww, back to work after 14 months off, must be difficult. It’s really tough getting into a routine, but I’m sure you’ll be in the swing of things soon. The hardest part for you must be missing sweet Lili when your at work 🙁

Great haul!! The cover for Infatuate is really pretty, but I haven’t read the first book. It’s tough going back to work after maternity leave. Hope everything is going smoothly. 🙂
