Marie’s Wish List

“I was born with a reading list I will never finish.”  ~Maud Casey

Below is a list of all my current wished-for books.  If you would like to grant my wishes and send me any of the titles listed below for review, you can reach me at marieharris725 (@) gmail.com.

November 2013

Night of Cake & Puppets by Laini Taylor–yup, I know this has been out for a while but I never got around to picking up a copy!  I love Zuzana and would love to read the novella about her.  (Little, Brown Books for Young Readers)

July 2014

The Troop by Nick Cutter–I’ve heard this is delightfully spooky!  (Gallery Books)

October 2014

Compulsion by Martina Boone–Southern gothic + magic.  I’m in.  (Simon Pulse)

Atlantia by Ally Condie–Atlantis!  (Dutton Juvenile)

Talon by Julie Kagawa–for there, there be dragons!  (Harlequin Teen)

January 2015

The Deep by Nick Cutter–as above, I’ve heard that this author is the next Stephen King.  That his writing has actually scared Stephen King.  I’m super excited to try him out.  (Gallery Books)

February 2015

The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson–love this trilogy!  I can’t wait to see how it wraps up.  (Putnam Juvenile)

April 2015

Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray–I’ve been waiting forever (roughly) for the second book of the Diviners series!  (Little, Brown Books for Young Readers)

May 2015

The Cage by Megan Shepherd– love, love, love this author and would be forever beholden to whoever sent me a review copy of her new trilogy!  (Balzar + Bray)

Undetermined Future

Unknown Title by Ransom Riggs–I loved Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City and am looking forward to the yet unannounced third book!  (Quirk Books)

Unknown Title by Claudia Gray–I need to know what happens next in the Firebird Trilogy!  I fear I may have to wait a little while for Book 2, since Book 1 only just came out.  (Harper Teen)
